R. Jaya Rajamanickam, founder and administrator of Legend Care Centre, brings over 25 years of dedicated service in healthcare and nursing education. Her journey is defined by a deep passion for eldercare, a commitment to quality, and a heartfelt drive to uplift the standards of senior living in Malaysia.
Jaya's professional background includes extensive experience in both public and private healthcare sectors. She has served as a nurse educator in leading institutions and held clinical roles in specialized areas such as geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, neonatal intensive care, and paediatrics—at prominent hospitals like Penang General Hospital and Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Academically, she holds a Master's in Education Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from the University of Malaya, alongside certifications in Neonatal Nursing and a Diploma in Nursing Science. Her combined expertise in clinical practice and healthcare education has positioned her as a trusted leader in the field of elderly care.
Driven by a vision to create a more compassionate, comprehensive, and personalized approach to caring for older adults, she has embarked into providing nursing home and personalized caregiver services since 2014 through AgeCare Sdn Bhd. She formed Legend Care Centre in 2024 as an extension of her mission and philosophy that is rooted in empathy, respect, and quality care for elderly individuals.
She continues to play an active role in shaping care standards to reflect worldly needs, through mentoring upcoming caregivers and also ensuring that professional attention and heartfelt care continue to go hand in hand for elder care services.
